I was VERY moved by several things at (Sunday) dance yesterday...

One was witnessing two delightful fathers dancing while holding their kids in their arms, as the kids interacted in their own sweet "dance" of connection. It was just AWESOME and the thought crossed my mind of how many fathers in the world are even LIKE that? Who are gentle and loving and aware like that? Thank you fathers!!

Another was the two kids sharing back their joy of the dance in our closing circle. Nothing else needed to be said, for me. I came INTO the dance with this "inner child" perspective, of how we are all little children playing grown-up games...that we mature physically, but emotionally we are children mostly and battle our demons and buttons in relationships as our wounded children inside without being aware of it for the most part. So, my inner child danced yesterday in it's joy and playful "concern", going from head, to heart, to body and back again....flushing it out....ahhh....

Finally, was when Elisa (sp?) shared back (through interpretation as she points to symbols on a board) of how much she loves being ACCEPTED and tolerated by us and how much being with us in the dance means to her in her life. I felt her pain and her joy in that and wishing the whole world could be what we are in the dance.

Such a blessing.
